Museo del Baile Flamenco (Flamenco Dance Museum)

As Seville is the birthplace of Flamenco it is only fitting to include this on my list of things to see and do. This is a museum dedicated entirely to its music and takes you on a journey of discovery using clever interactive multimedia technology. Owned by renowned Flamenco dancer Christina Hoyas, the museum gives you a real feel for what Flamenco is all about. The costs are €10.00 for adults and €6.00 for children.

Opening times are:        Summer (1st April – 31st October)             – 9am – 7pm

                                      Winter    (1st November – 31st March)       – 9am – 6pm

                                       Open every day.

Why should I visit?

Although a little pricey, it is well worth a visit as it is the only one of its kind anywhere in the world. The multi media stuff is pretty cool too.
