Hotel prices

Staying in Seville can be pretty expensive and a typical 3 star hotel, of which there are plenty, will set you back somewhere between €70 – €90 per night. However the further out from the city you are the cheaper your accommodation will become. Therefore it might be worth doing a little research and weighing up the pros and cons.

As this is a budget guide to the city, chances are that you might be looking to stay in a hostel/pension or  a backpackers hostel. If this is the case then you are in luck because recently Seville has recognised the need for cheaper accommodation and more are springing up. A typical price for a hostel or pension which offers a  “no frills” concept, is somewhere between €30 – €50 per night. For this you get your own private accommodation but you may well have to share a bathroom. Accommodation is generally of a high standard and is clean and tidy.

Backpackers hostels are cheaper still. It may mean that you are sharing a room with someone you don’t know, but if this doesn’t bother you then prices are around €20 per night. This type of accommodation varies in location, so you may need to do your research as to which are closest to the city centre.

The Seville high season is between June and September. The low season is generally outside school holidays and is where you will find the cheapest rates. These are between the months of October through to March, excepting Christmas and New Year.
